About Me

Hello!

My name is Hannah, and I am a passionate educator who believes that every child has the potential to learn and deserves personalized instruction that meets their unique needs.

With over ten years of experience in elementary education, I specialize in tutoring literacy subjects, such as pre-reading skills, phonics, decoding, and writing. Using the
Science of Reading (SoR) and research-based instructional methodologies like Orton Gillingham to guide my approach. I design personalized lessons that cater to each student's unique learning style, interests, and needs. Because learning should be FUN, sessions are entirely game-based and interactive to keep your child engaged, even after a long day at school.

My primary goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers every student to succeed. I have extensive experience in providing personalized support to students with a wide range of needs, including...
Neurodivergent students, such as those diagnosed with:
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Learning Disabilities (eg. Dyslexia)
- Speech & Language Impairments
Neurotypical students, such as those who are:
- falling behind in school
- learning English

- high-achieving/advanced and in need of a challenge

I offer private instruction via Zoom that is personalized to meet your child's needs. For local clients, I also offer the option for in-person* sessions. However, most of my clients prefer Zoom due to its convenience and flexibility. I've found that my students achieve even greater outcomes over the computer because they enjoy the interactive nature of the virtual learning environment, which encourages active participation and fosters a deeper understanding of the material.

I am dedicated to supporting your child's progress and helping them overcome any obstacles to acquire the skills they need to succeed. Click here to learn more about my services.
